This dark blue Moomin mug from Arabia from 2005 shows Hufsa looking at a paraffin lamp. It is beautifully designed by Arabia artist Tove Slotte-Elevant, and the illustration can be seen in Tove Jansson's original book Moominland Midwinter. Hufsa represents loneliness and people who have difficulty accepting and expressing love in the right way. May seem cold and scary to others, but really only wants you well! Tove Slotte-Elevant has designed the Moomin series in line with the original drawings created by Finnish author Tove Jansson.
