Tove Jansson's beloved character, the mischievous Stinky, now gets his own motif in Arabia's Moomin Classics collection. The illustration on the Stinky plate is based on two different comic stories: “Moomin Begins a New Life” (1956) and “Club Life in Moominvalley” (1957).
In the illustration we meet the villain of Moomintroll, who is shown trying to save Moomintroll's bag from a wild dog. Although Stinky is a trickster, he would never steal Moomintroll's bag.
